The greatest thing that Foucault pointed out was that, which is veritably true even decades later in HK society, is his vision of the autonomous individual. The systems of HK kill people, we have never been emancipated under Enlightenment and bourgeois liberalism under institutions and disciplination, which put upon people always another "hegemonic social control and bureaucratic regulations.
This is about which i always question, i can't imagine why people can rest in peace but do not realize how terrible the society is turning to be. When the society is dangerous, we can change it; but if the "we" themselves are dangerous, what will be the force of change?
我想Foucault 這種悲觀的察覺，就是我們要好好去建立的所有事情，亦就是可行的力量。
如他所言，當發現所有事都是危險的，包括身邊的人，可建立的就有許多。例如如何研發及宣傳一種新的言語去說明這些政府權力的技癢(technologies of power)及理性﹖如何預備一個恰當的位置去描繪及說服別人，那種自我管理的無形帝國﹖
根據此引言，他不純粹說他們壞，本質上冇得救，基因問題，遊戲玩完。就算一個人多麼差，他都認為或許有救贖的一天，市民是一種權力統治另一些權力下產生的odd form，如卡夫卡的變型蟲一樣。其實，每一個人都有變型的時候，我有我從來都不說粗口的殖民教育內化，他有他追隨美國夢的政府個人主義，總是程度問題，建立廣泛的自省才是希望。
福仔還說過，Liberalism才是最高技巧的管治模式呢。處於Authoritarian或香港這種半內化半鬼佬的governmentality 下，還有一部分市民還在暴露及劣等的公共行政下相信及建立自我的抵抗，自由主義的社會管治似乎令人連自主的意識也取消，因為，你已經被「賦予」了自主性，同時相信這種value-hidden賦予式的自主。到時更變態、更危險、更需要危險的自覺。
